Happening now...man escapes burning home in Lyndon

A 77-year old man escaped his burning home this morning on Robb Road in Lyndon. The man reportedly suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to Olean General Hospital. Firefighters from Lyndon and Ischua got the call just before 5am. News trackers tell us the man stood outside his burning home for at least 20 minutes before he could summon help. Fire crews from Hinsdale, Cuba, New Hudson and Westons Mills were either called to the scene or placed on stand-by.
