Coch to present ‘Confessions of a Country Doctor’ at Alfred University’s Bergren Forum

The Alfred University Bergren Forum presents “End of Life Care: Confessions of a Country Doctor” a presentation by local doctor William Coch, M.D. The program begins at 12:10 p.m. in Nevins Theater, Powell Campus Center on Thursday, Feb. 23 and is open to the public free of charge.
A graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Coch has practiced medicine for 36 years in the predominately elderly community of Andover in Allegany County. His focus will be on the future issues and ethics that come with age and health risks and issues with the being able to accept age driven limitations.
The Bergren Forum, sponsored by the Alfred Division of Human studies and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, meets Thursdays during each academic semester at the University.  Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch: coffee and tea will be available.
