Lori Pettit Rieman, Cattaraugus County District Attorney, reported the following activity in Cattaraugus County Court on Tuesday February 14, 2012:
JAMES E. BARAN, d/o/b 1/21/75, of Jamestown, New York, but presently incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail, waived prosecution by indictment and entered a plea of guilty by Superior Court Information to Burglary in the Third Degree, a class D felony; and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor. The incident occurred on or about December 15, 2011, in the Town of South Valley, , the defendant, acting jointly with others, knowingly entered or remained unlawfully in a building with intent to commit a crime therein and intentionally damaged property. Sentencing is scheduled for April 16, 2012.
JUSTIN L. SAFFORD, d/o/b 5/1/80, of Allegany, New York, but presently incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail, waived prosecution by indictment and entered a plea of guilty by Superior Court Information to Assault in the Third Degree, a class A misdemeanor. The incident occurred on or about August 14, 2011, in the City of Olean , when the defendant recklessly caused physical injury to another person. The defendant was sentenced to six months in the Cattaraugus County Jail.
RONALD A. KENJOCKETY, d/o/b 6/19/1956, of Salamanca , New York , was sentenced to five years probation, $2000 fine, 100 hours of community service and his driver’s license was revoked. The incident occurred on or about February 5, 2010, in the City of Salamanca , when the defendant operated a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition.

ERIC J. BLAIR, d/o/b 2/27/78, of Buffalo, New York, but presently incarcerated in the Erie County Correctional Facility, entered a plea of guilty to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a class A misdemeanor. The incident occurred on or about August 3, 2010 in the City of Olean , when the defendant knowingly and unlawfully possessed a controlled substance. The defendant was sentenced to six months in the Cattaraugus County Jail.
