Allegany County Warrant Execution Detail

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to a Warrant Execution Detail arrested the following individuals on Tuesday, January 31^st:

 Amanda M. Bowker, 24, of 4163 County Road 1, Friendship, on an Allegany County Family Court Warrant for Child Neglect.  Bowker, who was located by Deputies hiding in an upstairs bedroom at her residence, was transported to the Town of Friendship Court where she was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $5000 cash bail. She is scheduled to appear in Allegany County Family Court on February 7^th for further court proceedings.

Justin M. Haynes, 23, of 57 Liberty Street, Bolivar, with the assistance of the Cuba and Bolivar Police Departments, on an Allegany County Family Court Warrant for Failing to Obey a Child Support Order. Haynes was transported to the Town of Bolivar Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $1000 cash bail or $2000 Bond. He is scheduled to appear in Allegany County Family Court on February 2^nd.

Brandon G. Gaines, 29, of 109 Richardson Avenue, Richburg, on a New York State Parole Warrant.  Gaines was originally sentenced to 1 to 3 years in State Prison following his probation in his March 2010 conviction of Burglary 3^rd Degree.  He is being held at the Allegany County Jail pending further proceedings with New York State Parole.  

Sheriff Whitney also reports that on February 1^st, Sheriff’s Deputies, with the assistance of the Wright County Sheriff’s Office in Minnesota, arrested Steven Ramsey Schuster, 39, of 15075 County Road 75, Clearwater, Minnesota, on an Allegany County Probation Warrant. Schuster, who was convicted in October 2011 on the charge of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3^rd degree, and was sentenced to 5 years probation, did immediately flee the State of New York with his children to the State of Minnesota where he was arrested on January 6^th, 2012. Schuster is currently being held at the Allegany County Jail awaiting arraignment in Allegany County Court on his Violation of Probation.
