Ulysses home destroyed by fire

A home was destroyed by fire Thursday at 406 Baker Street in Ulysses. One person was inside the home when flames broke out, but was able to escape without injury. One firefighter sustained an ankle injury, but no other injuries were reported.  Firefighters and equipment from Tri-Town, Genesee, Harrison Valley and Coudersport were on scene until nearly 7pm. Tri-Town fire was called back to the scene about 8:40pm last night. The cause remains under investigation.
