Pennsylvania State Rep accused of conflict

The Allegheny Defense Project, a local environmental group, issued a press release Tuesday alleging a conflict of interest between Pennsylvania state Rep. Kathy Rapp and the gas industry in light of financial interests filed by the legislator with the state ethics commission. The Bradford Era says ADP also released a copy of the form which Rapp filled out last April disclosing that she received income from EXCO Resources, an oil and gas company based out of Warrendale — although no dollar amount was listed. ADP claims “Rep. Rapp is using her position in government to promote a company that she benefits from financially.”
