New York judges scolded

It’s a Hudson Valley story that could have statewide impact. A state justice has admonished six town justices in Dutchess County for what he called “repeated” failures to respond to police requests to perform arraignments. The state justice says he would never question judges’ decisions regarding bail or other issues, and they all want to do the right thing. He added…But you can’t do the right thing if you don’t come out.
