Due to a fire at the Allegany Fire Hall, the monthly child safety seat checks typically held there, have been moved to the Hinsdale fire hall. Sponsored by the Sheriff and Health Department, the program is conducted the third Thursday of each month from 4-5:30pm. The next check will be January 19th. Deputies remind parents that children should be present to ensure proper fitting.
