The McKean County Commissioners say they want to raise some property transaction filing fees. Fees for recording mortgages and ownership transfers will go up more than $13. It’s not a done deal yet…but likely will by April. The fees were first implemented in 1992.
A Smethport man faces burglary and other charges. 52-year old Dennis York will return to court February 2…he’s currently free on $25,000 bail. The charges stem from a January incident on Wolf Run Road.
