Taxes won’t rise as much as first thought in Kane. The 20-12 budget has reduced the planned tax hike…now slated at 1.5 mills, down from 3 mills. Nearly three dozen people filled the room as the Kane Borough Council voted 5-1 Tuesday to make budget changes.
