December 3, 2011 AKRON, OHIO - After the second day of the Zippy Invite the St. Bonaventure women's swimming and diving team is currently in 12th place with a score of 204. McKenzie Courtney had a 6th place finish for the Brown and White in the 100-yard breaststroke, with a time of 1:06.23. Meaghan McCann clinched a 10th place finish in the 100-yard backstroke and a time of 57.82. Sophomore Ivanna Smirnova finished 14th in the 100-yard butterfly, touching in with a time of 58.12. Rachel Bull came in 19th in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:54.54.In relay action, a team of McCann, Courtney, Lanae Petty and Jeanette Dietrich finished 14th in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:49.02. In the 800-yard freestyle relay, Smirnova, Dietrich, Petty and Bull pulled together for a 11th place finish and a time of 7:50.75. The three-day meet will conclude tomorrow. Prelims will begin at 9 a.m. and event finals will begin at 4 p.m. |
