HUGE gift for Houghton College

According to the Associated Press, Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula and his wife Kim are donating $12 million to her western New York alma mater for a new multi-sport complex to be built on campus.
Officials at Houghton College in Allegany County announced Thursday that the couple has pledged to donate that amount, which will be the second largest in the school's 128-year history.
Kim Pegula is a 1991 graduate of Houghton and her father teaches at the four-year college.
Terry Pegula, a Pennsylvania billionaire, bought the Sabres in February for $189 million.
In September 2010, the Pegulas made the largest private gift in Penn State University's history, donating $88 million to Terry's alma mater to fund a new arena for the school's hockey program.
