Family escapes house fire in Eldred

An Eldred family escaped their burring home early today. State police said 42-year old Shannon Shroyer and his family were not injured when fire broke out about just before 8am at their home on Canfiled Hollow Road. The state police fire marshal and Eldlred firefighters determined the cause was accidental in nature. Investigators said the home sustained about $100,000 in damage.
