Corning Man Arrested for Reckless Endangerment

John R. Creeley, 63 of Corning, was arrested for Reckless Endangerment 2nd following an incident in the Town of Erwin. Creeley was travelling southbound on South Hamilton Street in the Town of Erwin when he stopped for Troopers directing traffic around a personal injury accident scene. When Creeley felt he had waited long enough, he disregarded the direction of emergency personnel and fled through the intersection brushing a Trooper with his vehicle. Creeley was then pursued by Troopers on scene and eventually complied. Creeley was charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd, Unlawful Fleeing of a Police Officer and Failure to Comply. No one was injured as a result of this incident. Creeley was arraigned in the Town of Erwin Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 property bond.
