BLOOD BANK HOPES TO RECOVER FROM HOLIDAY WEEKEND

WARREN, PA - One holiday weekend down one to go for the blood supply. The Community Blood Bank hopes to recover from the holiday weekend's blood usage with a blood drive that's open to the public this Wednesday December 28th.

The Community Blood Bank is holding a blood drive on Wednesday, December 28th from noon to 5pm at the Holy Redeemer Church on Pennsylvania Avenue in Warren.  Walk-ins are welcome; No appointment is needed to save a life.

"We really need to be ready for New Year's Weekend," Said Dan Desrochers Director of Marketing at the blood bank; "We are starting the with blood supply lower than we'd like so every donor is important."

The Community Blood Bank of NW PA is the EXCLUSIVE supplier of Blood to all the hospitals in Elk, Mc Kean, Warren, and Erie Counties.
