An Olean woman was arrested for allegedly possessing a hypodermic instrument at the county building in Olean. 31-year old Sandra Sherlock of Little Valley was arraigned and committed to jail pending further court action.
Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two people for Welfare Fraud in separate incidents. 41-year old Lisa Bhe of Olean faces fraud, larceny and other counts related to her duties as a day care provider. She’s accused of submitting false paperwork to social services for reimbursement.
And 38-year old Frank Sciabarrasi of Dugan Road was charged with fraud, Grand Larceny and other counts for not reporting wages to socials services. Deputies said he improperly received more than $2,100 in food stamps. He’ll answer the charges in city court December 6th.
