School bus hit by gun fire

State police continue to investigate an early morning shooting incident in Cattaraugus County involving a Randolph school bus. Police said a bullet apparently hit the entry door and lodged in the roof behind the driver. Nobody was hurt. It happened on Route 241 near Conewango about 7:30 this morning. State police believe it may have been a stray round from a hunter. The incident happened in a well-known spot for hunters, and that’s where the investigation is heading.
