The Tonawanda City School Superintendent will be officially retiring come Oct 17. Whitney Vantine has submitted his paperwork, the board hopes to have someone in his place before he leaves the post he has held for 5 years. As for plans, he doesn't have anything concrete yet, but hopes to continue something in education at least part time.
