The SPCA in Cattaraugus County called their One Day Adoptathon this past Saturday a huge success. When the adoption fee waived day was over, 15 pets had found forever homes and 10 adoption applications are still pending. The organization has been coming under criticism lately of allegations of the facility being poorly run, and officials with the SPCA expressed thanks to the community for their support in turning out and making the day a success and so many adoptions possible.
