Results of the PA System of School Assessment Reviewed

The results of the latest Pennsylvania System of School Assessment tests were reviewed at last nights Bradford Area School Board meeting. the results were mixed. Concerns were raised for the Special education students at Fretz Middle School who failed to meet their Average Yearly Progress scores and actually showed a drop in scores from last year in math and reading. School and district officials say they will take a closer look at the intervention programs and over all program in the school. The high school got a boost. It's now classified as a "School making progress".
