P.A Officials Helping To Issue Voter Photo ID Before Elections

Pennsylvania state officials are once again trying to make it easier for registered voters to get a state-issued photo ID card just as new arguments are being raised in court over whether anyone could be denied the right to vote. A Department of Transportation official testified yesterday that the newly streamlined process was finalized earlier this week in an effort to satisfy a week-old Supreme Court decision.

Meanwhile it was announced yesterday, PennDOT licensing centers in Bradford and St. Mary's will join others around the state, which are normally closed on Mondays, to be open Monday Nov 5, the day before election day, to better serve those with last minute Voter ID needs
