Lawsuit Filed Against St. Mary's Man

While 47 year old Richard Danz continues to wait for extradition back to Pennsylvania, The Elk County Humane Society has filed a lawsuit against the St. Mary's man alledging he took hundreds of thousands of dollars from the organization while he served as its treasurer. Danz faces numerous charges in connection with the case which began over the summer when police started to investigate more than 500-thousand dollars missing from the organizations accounts. Thanks to the community they have been able to remain open and running while the investigation continues. Danz was taken into custody by police in North Carolina several weeks ago.
