Cuba Murder-Suicide Update

Thursday September 12 It has been confirmed that a murder-suicide in Cuba, N.Y. resulted from a past feud. In fact, gunman Thomas Jerge had a restraining order placed upon him because of the feud. Yerge shot and killed his neighbor's wife Susan Babcock multiple times, including one to the back of the head. According to police, Jerge then grabbed his dog and fled to a nearby camp, shot his dog and then turned the gun on himself. Cuba police received a tip at 3:45 p.m. which stated that Jerge confessed to the crime. Police then arrived to the area just 10 minutes later and found the gruesome scene.
