Two High Speed Chases in Allegany County Lead to an Arrest

A driver who led police on two high-speed chases in Allegany County over the weekend will face 75 charges. A man police are identifying as 29-year-old Louis Fernandez from Connecticut was arrested after he led police on not one but two high-speed chases throughout Allegany County. NYS Police say that Fernandez who was driving an Audi A4 accelerated when a trooper tried to pull him over. They say the car was reaching speeds close to 100 miles per hour. Police caught up to him in Bolivar. He is being held in Allegany County jail in lieu of 5 thousand dollars bail. Police say no one was injured in the chase.
