Report Shows McKean County has High Number of Preventable Hospitalization Cases

McKean county didn't get such good grades when it comes to the number of cases of preventable hospitalizations due to asthma and other breathing problems. A report released by the PA Health care cost containment council showed for 2010 the county showed 78.3 percent of potentially preventable hospitalizations, Potter County at 49.9 percent. Cameron County was highest when it came to preventable hospitalization for heart failure and pneumonia.
