Property Deed Scams?

Another scam making the round...this time involving property deeds. According to the  McKean County Recorder of Deeds office A notice has been received by at least two Bradford residents from "Secured Document Services" in Washington, D.C., offering to send the resident a copy of their property deed and property profile for $86 if done by Aug. 31; if not, there is an additional fee of $35 for processing. This notice is not in any way affiliated with McKean County, nor with the Recorder of Deeds office. anyone seeking a copy of his or her property deed can obtain it from her office at the Smethport courthouse for 50 cents a page for photocopies, or $1 a page to have it mailed.
