Potter and McKean Counties to Possibly Receive State Funding

Meanwhile, officials in both McKean and Potter counties are hopeful that they will be among the counties in the state selected for pilot candidates for the State Department of Public Welfare to receive funding thru the new Human Services Block Grant program. They are among 30 counties vying for grants.  Officials in both counties are optimistic they have a good chance to receive the grants which they both say would be a great boost for residents in both counties.
