Plans for Proposed Seneca Allegany Charter School Move Forward

In Salamanca last night a public information session was held on the proposed Seneca Allegany Charter School. Parents and community members have submitted their application for the school to the New York State board of Regents and won't know until the end of the year if the plan can move forward. Meanwhile, school organizers continue to get the word out about the school as they work on curriculum. right now the plan is to open the school in time for classes this time next year. Teaching of Seneca language and heritage is the primary focus for the school.
