Local High Schools Taking Part in Grant Opportunity

Students attending five area high schools will have access to a variety of special opportunities during this upcoming academic school year. Some local schools will be able to do more this year through a $250,000 grant recently awarded to Jamestown Community College.  Partnering with JCC on a grant called the College Access Challenge Grant, otherwise known as the CACG, are Brocton Central School, Dunkirk High School, Jamestown High School, Olean High School, and Salamanca Central School. The grant is funded through an award of $7 million received by New York State from the U.S. Department of Education.
