The city of Buffalo is again offering money for guns, no questions
asked. Mayor Byron Brown announced Tuesday that the city will hold a gun buyback event on Saturday, August 18. People who turn in guns at one of seven churches will be given prepaid bank cards in amounts ranging from $10 to $100. The $100 bank cards are reserved for assault weapons. Handguns will bring $75, while rifles and shotguns will be worth $50. Non-working or antique guns can be turned in for a $10 card.
