Young Teen Recovering After Bring Hit by Truck in Jamestown
A young teen is recovering in Hamot Medical Center today, after he was seriously injured by a truck that hit him while he was skateboarding to a nearby park. Just before 4 p.m. on Monday, Jamestown Police responded to an accident that involved a 14-year-old who was skateboarding across Washington Street when a 48-year-old truck driver by the name of James Peterson collided with the teen. The young boy sustained a serious injury to his leg. His name has not been released.
