The Community Blood Bank of WNY made it through the July 4th holiday without a blood shortage, thanks to generous blood donors last week, but now the local supply is falling and the blood bank hopes a strong donor turnout this week will avoid a blood shortage for now. Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville NY will hold a blood drive this Thursday from 11 am to 5 pm.
