Syracuse to Leave Big East and Join ACC Conference

Syracuse University will have to pay the Big East $7.5 million to leave the conference next year July 1, 2013. As of next year, they will be apart of the ACC Conference, joining along side with North Carolina, Duke, Florida State, Miami, and Clemson; teams that are pretty notable in the NCAA for basketball and football. Big East interim Commissioner Joe Bailey said in a statement: "This closes a chapter and opens a new one filled with exciting possibilities for the Big East's future."
