The teenager from Olean who slashed the face of another girl during a fight outside Olean High School was sentenced Monday for the maximum amout of time behind bars; five years. Destiny Ballaus got into a fight with Kaylee O’Connel- as the fight escalated Ballaus reached for the knife she was carrying and slashed O’Connel across the face. It is believe that O’Connel was sticking up for a friend that was being cyberbullied.
