New Legislation Proposing Online Shopping Tax

People who shop online to avoid sales tax may not be able to take advantage of that discount for much longer. There is new legislation that could result in an up to 10 percent tax for online purchases. Shoppers who exclusively use online shopping as a means to get a better price on products could be opting to actually shop at their favorite stores, because a new 5 percent tax will soon be established for online buyers. Meaning that if you are online about to place something in your shopping cart- you might want to think twice before clicking continue to check out.
