Local college athletes are earning recognition not for their work on the field but in the classroom. Five women athletes at Jamestown Community College’s Cattaraugus County Campus earned recognition for their academic achievements and grade point averages for the 2011-12 academic year. Members from the softball team as well as the soccer team earned the Academic All- Western NY Academic conference award.
