Hinsdale to Induct Four News Members to Athletic Hall of Fame

Hinsdale Central School will induct four individuals into the Athletic Wall of Fame on Friday, July 13, at 6 p.m. in the lower gymnasium. Among those being honored are Coach, Athletic Director, and Health and Driver Education teacher, Bill Bathurst, who will be honored for his 35 years of service to the school, Dorsey Moore, Class of 1962, played five sports at Hinsdale was Defensive Player of the Year in 1962, basketball, and captain of the football team the same year. In addition, his civic contributions include serving on Hinsdale’s Town Board for four years and holding the Commander position at the Norton Chambers Post 1424 American Legion. Katy Ames Canty, Class of 2002, played varsity soccer for five years as well as basketball and softball for four years at HCS. Emily Hurlburt graduated in 2002 and played soccer for five years, basketball and softball for four years. Friends and family members of these inductees are invited to attend.
