Emporium Man Charged With Supplying Alcohol to Minors and Assault

Thirty-two-year-old Adam Eckert of Emporium is accused of giving alcohol to an 18-year-old girl from Kane and a 16-year-old girl from Emporium, and assaulting the 18-year-old back in June. Eckert is charged with indecent assault, corruption of minors, simple assault, furnishing liquor to minors and harassment. His bail is set at $25,000. It was also in June Eckert allegedly broke into a woman’s bedroom and sexually assaulted her. She chased him from her bedroom with a nearby hatchet.
