Allegheny Surface Technology Fire Was Accidental

We now know a Sunday night fire at Allegheny Surface Technology in Lewis Run was accidental. The exact cause is still under investigation, and may have been caused by an electrical problem. Most of the damage to the building was confined to the manufacturing part where chemical processing is conducted. Fire crews are credited with making a quick stop to the blaze which could have gotten much worse.
