Safety First

Those who don’t want to be up a creek without a paddle should look into going to a boater’s safety course. The last chance to take a Boaters Safety Course offered by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's office will be this weekend on June 9th and 10th. To be in accordance with New York State law, anyone who is between the ages of 10 and 17 and wishes to operate a boat alone must take an approved boating safety course. The session will be held from 8am to noon at South Valley Town Hall on Sawmill Run Road in Onoville. Anyone interested must attend both days.
