That's according to an Associated Press report that says billions has already been invested in pipeline infrastructure, wells and leases in Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania is more business-friendly than neighboring New York. The recent plunge in wholesale natural gas prices makes thriftiness a must, and that fact, more than environmental activism, could put a damper on Marcellus Shale Drilling in Upstate New York.
