EverPower Project Granted One-Year Extension

The Town of Allegany Planning Board unanimously approved to grant a one-year extension for a wind turbine farm project for EverPower Inc. at last night's meeting. The Town Board approved a route that would use streets in the town of Carrollton in order to transport 8,500 truckloads of materials to the site. However, residents affected by this have expressed concern about thousands of trucks traveling through their neighborhoods. EverPower and Carrollton town leaders have yet to reach an agreement about the transportation.
