Bridge Detour Delayed

Work on a bridge in Lewis Run has been underway since early May. But there has been a slight delay. A Lewis Run bridge through the borough of Lewis Run near route 4001 is being replaced with a new concrete arch. In addition to the construction a detour was established so that the current bridge can be removed and the new one built. The detour was expected to begin today but now is being delayed until June 18. The detour is expected to last through late August and will use Route 4001, Route 59, and Route 219.
