Senator Young Having a Roundtable on Regional High Schools

Senator Catharine Young and Senate Education Committee Chairman John Flanagan will join area educators for a roundtable discussion on regional high schools. The meeting is set for this afternoon  from  noon  until 2 pm at the Scharmann Theatre at JCC in Jamestown.  The New York State Board of Regents has examined the concept of a regional high school for several years, and formally put the idea forward in their 2012 Legislative Priorities. The discussion will focus on the legal, practical, educational and economic impact of establishing a regional high school.
