Pill Drop Box Installed in Allegany County

There is a new way to safely dispose of your unused, unwanted or expired medications in Allegany County and the surrounding areas.  You may now get rid of your old prescription medications any time. According to Sheriff Rick Whitney, a Prescription Drug Drop Box has been installed in the Main Lobby of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office. You may drop off any type of pills or medications twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. The Drop Box is one of only three in the Western New York area and the first in the Southern Tier.
