Losing a member of law enforcement is never easy but
honoring them in the right way makes it a little easier. Those who have lost fallen officers will have a chance to
salute them.
A ceremony honoring fallen police officers will be held on Monday
May 7th in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. This will be the 19th
annual memorial ceremony that is held by the fraternal order of police.
Pennsylvania officers killed in the line of duty last year were Deputy Sheriff
Kyle Pagerly, Officer Robert Lasso, Patrolman Derek Kotecki, and Officer John
Dryer. The president of the Fraternal Order of Police is scheduled to speak as
well as Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett.
