Remains identified


Authorities say it now appears human remains found in Allegany State Park are indeed those of a 92-year-old retired pastor who disappeared while hiking with his daughter in 2010. State park police say a walking stick and watch believed to be the Rev. Thomas Hamilton's were found near other personal items in Allegany State Park. A skull and bone fragments also were discovered. Hamilton of Great Valley, and his 66-year-old daughter got lost while hiking in November 2010. She made it out the next day, but her father's body wasn't found despite an eight-day search.
