McKean County welfare fraud
Pennsylvania’s Office of Inspector General says three McKean County residents have pleaded guilty to welfare fraud. Christopher and Sarah Vancise of Bradford received more than $8,200 in SNAP benefits. Christopher Vancise was sentenced to 6 days incarceration and 12 months probation. Sarah Vancise was sentenced to 15 days incarceration and 300 hours of community service. Both were sentenced to pay full restitution and costs.
Meanwhile, 21-year old Kayleigh Wyant of Bradford received more than $4,000 in SNAP benefits. She was sentenced to 20 hours of community services and 6 months probation and was ordered to pay full restitution and costs.
