Cattaraugus County health report

A new report shows Cattaraugus County ranks 50th out of 62 counties in New York State in health outcomes. It doesn’t mean the county is environmentally unsafe, rather the report identifies unhealthy lifestyles. However, the county is improving. Last year, Cattaraugus County was ranked 54th. The report reveals that 23% of adults smoke, 29% are obese and 16% drink excessively.
Allegany County was slightly better, ranking 48th. Chautauqua was ranked 49th. Putnam County was ranked number one. You can read the entire report for Cattaraugus and other counties: CLICK HERE
