A Cattaraugus County couple has been arrested for scamming social services. 28-year old Crystal Rickert and 30-year old Jason Rickert, both of Little Valley, have been charged with Welfare Fraud and Grand Larceny. Sheriff’s Deputies say the couple allegedly submitted fraudulent Child Care Attendance sheets to social services. By doing so, investigators said the couple received more than $2,000 in Day Care Assistance they weren’t entitled to. The pair will answer the charges in Olean court April 24th.
